Memorial day is one of the most important holidays in our country. it is one of the only days that we really take a minute to think about those people who have put their life on the line for the rest of us to enjoy the liberties that we have. We sometimes take this for granted so I am very proud to see schools such as Edmonds community college have proper ceremonies and celebrations of such a special day. We must keep this tradition alive for as long as we are a solid country so that these sacrifices are never forgotten.
